Apple Whore

I think I'm beginning to understand why people become Apple product addicts..

If you recall I finally moved over to Apple after a lifetime of using Microsoft Windows on bog-standard PCs.

Macbook

MacBooks are just awesome

Well after little less than a month of purchasing my iMac I've now invested in a MacBook too (through the company, mind you - I'm sadly not personally that wealthy!) (At least not yet ;)).

Anyway again I love it. How well everything works, how beautiful it looks, and everything else that comes when you buy an Apple product.

Problem is, now I want to buy an iPod to replace my current tatty discman as well (yes, discman, as in CDs. I know). That's a couple of hundred quid. Oh yes, and the new Apple iPhone, too. A few hundred pounds more. What's next? iTeaspoon? ;)

The Big Question

Does buying Apple products always get this addictive and if so, is there a cure (other than buying more Apple products)? I'm gonna be broke in no time at this rate! :)

Nah forget the Ipod...I think the iphone will pretty much do everything the ipod can do...and yes Apple products are addictive! What is your favourite software so far?

Well iPods are awesome, and I have a nano myself, which is priced pretty well compared to the video ones. As far as buying Apple products, I completely understand the addiction.

I'm not exactly sure if it's just because of being Apple, maybe it's just being addicted to top notch industrial design products.

@Pascal: Favourite piece of software has to be iMovie, which is awesomely powerful considering it's free with the OS. Garage band is pretty funky too, and the Front Row addition to iTunes has the coolest visual effect I've seen yet.

@John: I was thinking of getting an iPod Shuffle, primarily because of the low price tag (fits around my meagre budget quite nicely). It might be better to wait for the iPhone, but id imagine a combo between music player and phone would take it's toll on the battery life quite a bit.

Utterly addictive and it will be your largest financial drain outside of rent/mortgage (more important than food!).

I've had to fight hard to resist splashing out on the Apple TV (I know, I know), a new Mac Book and a Nano to replace my ageing, yet perfectly functional, gen 4 iPod.

There's no going back now mate ;-)
