You may recall a post I made a few weeks ago, Hasselhoff is God. At that time I began actively searching for The Hoff's agent's telephone number. Many hours of surfing and multiple telephone calls across the world later I found it.

A rather blunt lady by the name of Jan McCormack answered and, to be entirely honest, spoke to me in a tone that made me feel she was perhaps a bit of a bitch frustrated lady. Anyway im not going to beat around the bush; sadly official endorsement from The Hoff is not to be. Apparently the big guy himself has sold all rights to the use of his name in Britain to some company down south. So there ya go. However, to be honest I never expected to get this far with official endorsement anyway, so disappointing as it is I am far from scathed and plan to continue the project regardless.
Stu Hall has kindly offered his most impressive artistic services towards the effort. I use the term impressive bluntly - his work is fucking awesome. Take a look at the drawing below and I think you'll agree. Additionally I have received a number of other supportive e-mails and offers for assistance should I need it from you lot. So a big cheers fellas, I owe you all a pint.

Just wondering; why do you actually need 'official' endorsement? Who gives a shit if he gives the thumbs up or not? Surely there are tons of fan sites out there for all sorts of celebs (including, I bet, The Hoff) that aren't officially endorsed, just slap a "This site is not affiliated with or sponsored by xxx" like, for example, Googlefight.com. You should still do it regardless.

As far as I know you don't actually own the copyright to your own image anyway(?).
Oh, and any ale will do, cheers... - On 17th July 2006 Steve Tucker said:

@Stu: No you're right, I dont need official endorsment - I just thought it would be cool ;). And yes, I am going ahead with it anyway. Been working on it all damn weekend.

In regards to the image on the masthead you are wrong - I *didnt* have the copyright, at least until I ripped it off by drawing my own copy of it.
Ale's on it's way in the post... - On 18th July 2006 Stu said:

Think we've got our wires crossed! I didn't mean you haven't got copyright to the image you've used on the site; I mean human beings do not own copyright to their own image (you can legally take pics etc of people, it only becomes an issue if you copy sound apparently...). I was just meaning you can find and doctor a pic of the Hoff. This could be a big pile of cack of course but someone told me it once. Now I mention it, he did say he'd just seen Elvis...
