I'm sure many of you have fallen fowl to the black hole, which seems to swallow every teaspoon from your kitchen draw for no apparent reason. About a year ago Holly & I bought a new cutlery set, complete with a dozen of those all-valuable teaspoons. Fast-forward twelve months and a mere two remain (one of which I nabbed from my parents house down the road).
The iTeaspoon©. RRP £149.99

So I've come up with a brilliant solution. Ladies and gentlemen I present the iTeaspoon©. Through some miracle of technology this piece of silverware will never abruptly vanish into thin air. The iTeaspoon© is available in a stylish white finish, is durable, light (at just under a kilogram) and comes complete with mp3 player and toenail clipper. It's also equipped with a 140 decibel alarm system, just in case a family member attempts to steal it.
I figured I'd brand it under the Apple name, just to ensure I got at least to the 100 million sales mark (think iPod). In all honesty though I think it'll exceed this figure.
So; who wants one??

Although this is interesting I find the proprietry nature of this technology to be contrary to the spirit of Cutlery 2.0.

I shall wait for Spoonix, the open source alternative. - On 30th April 2007 Dustin said:

Ah, Steve Jobs, how i wish i was thee. Kinda. It still amazes me that he helped start the company, then the board that he and others elected fire him...only to bring him back on to help them out during some troubling times.

And what amazes me even more is how many iPods have been sold...suckers :P - On 1st May 2007 Lorissa said:

lol! Classic.

My first instinct was, "Cool. I want one!" But, you see, I'm currently seeking counselling for my Apple gadget obsession, and so I have learned to say, "No, you Apple product whatever-you-may-be". Instead, I agree with Andrew and will wait for Spoonix.

The zpune - it talks with other zpunes so you'll always know where the whole set is, but you can only use it to stir your tea 3 times.

True, but when you buy and iTeaspoon you also get access to iSpoonTunes - try that on for size! ;)

LOL, Clever idea, but you forgot to mention that it will cost about 10 times the amount of any other teaspoon on the market. ;)
